Eden Mayo - My New Favorite!

I hate mayonnaise unless homemade by Mom when she was still alive or if PD makes for us.

The mayonnaise they sell in the supermarkets are too "asim" (tart) for my taste.

My friends complained during Pinky's party why I only bought 1 small sachet of Lady's Choice mayonnaise!

Um?!?! Because I do not like it?????

But not anymore!!!!

I love Eden Mayo! Real mayonnaise with a creamy cheese taste!

My friends said they bet it is sweet.

You bet!!!! It was not tart at all!!!

I also bought Eden Sandwich Spread.

Chicken Sandwich Filling

500 gr. chicken breast boiled in salted (1 T. Rock salt) water, flaked

3 sachets of Eden Mayo

1 sachet of Eden Sandwich Spread

Ground pepper

Salt and sugar, optional

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

Chill in the refrigerator.

I love chicken sandwich!

The simpler it is the better!!!!

Pinky's Pink Birthday

Today is Pinky's birthday!

Theme for the birthday party .... PINK!

I had to borrow some props from PD!

We even wore pink tops.

Pinky requested for a Diner menu celebration.

Aussie Burgers, Fries, Spaghetti, Hotdog, Boiled corn and Salad.

Pinky brought BBQ from Marcelo!

Yay! Yum!

We also asked her to buy canned sodas for the.....

Rootbeer float! It was only Mona who had the Orange float.

I have been sugar-free for several days now but I could not resist the root beer float.

Eileen, our bar manager always brings ice and drinks for everybody!

Dodai's assignment was the birthday cake!

For those who did not want to bring food to the get together ( Doc Tricia and Doc Bernie, Cabinmates Jodie and Eric, Mona and I), we just divided the cost among ourselves.

Even if we wanted to eat and eat, we could not!!!

Why... Why why???? I wonder why? We were so full!

So many food, so little space.

Our boys for the night! Doc Bernie and Cabinmate Eric.

Lots of little hearts.... To show Pinky how much we love her!

Happy birthday to my dear friend, Pinky!

I hope and pray that you get your birthday wish.

Happy Birthday Wolfie!

Wolfie celebrated his 5th birthday today.

My Kuya asked me what was my schedule for the day. I told him I will attend the birthday party of Tita Josie's grandchild.

It was my first time to attend a birthday party for a dog!

Stella is Wolfie's Mama.

She is also a painter. I saw her in Powerplant a few days ago and she mentioned that she is painting Wolfie's portrait! I told her that I want to see the finished work of art!

She unveiled the portrait today!

TADA!

Beautiful! So life like!

Stella helped Wolfie open his presents! That was my gift to him.

Most of the gifts were from his Mama and "Lola Josie".

While he was busy checking out his presents....

The humans were busy having lunch.

Roast Pork with Mashed Potatoes

Spaghetti for long life!

Tracy made a cake for the birthday boy.

We all sang, Happy Birthday To You!

He liked his cake! I think he licked the icing.

Yum Yum!

I asked Stella to take my picture with Wolfie!

Then we all posed next to the portrait!

Happy Happy Birthday, Wolfie!

Bacon and Burgers ------> This Way

There is a new burger joint on Jupiter St. Corner Galaxy St. Bel-Air Village called The Lazy Bastard.

If you see this signage, you are in the right place.

It is behind Yamato Bakeshop and Mitsuyado-Sen.

It was Bea, daughter of Tricia, who recommended the place. She told me, Tita! Their burgers are so good!

I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger.

And..... True enough..... It was good! VERY Good! VERY, very good!

Why?

Because it was a no frills burger. It was not "pretentious". Just an honest to goodness burger.

Just the way I like it!

No dressing, ketchup nor mustard. It was piping hot when it was served to me.

And the fries?!?!?!

I loved it! Well seasoned! I did not even ask for ketchup.

Next time, I am going to try the hotdog sandwiches!!!

I could eat here everyday! They even have breakfast all day!

Well.... Not everyday! They are closed on Sundays. They open at 11 am Monday thru Saturday until...

No closing time! I asked them what does that mean?!

Last man standing! They will only close until the last customer leaves.

I asked them why they were wearing 1920's "costumes".

One of them asked me if I wanted to check out the place. I looked around and asked myself, " What did she mean check out the place?"

This is it! It is just a narrow dining place for about 15 people!

But.... Wait.... There is a secret door! She took me to ABV!

A hidden drinking place where they have all the liquor from around the world!!!

I immediately told her it reminds me of Al Capone and the Prohibition!!!

And she said, YES!!!! That is their main concept for the place!

You need a secret password to enter ABV (Alcohol by Volume).

Log on to WWW.ABV.PH to know more about it.

The General Manager gave me his card and it says.......

Experience exclusive access to ABV by presenting this card.

Wow!!!

I can't wait to have my next The Lazy Bastard fix!

P.S.

I just have to share this.

The burger joint is behind Mitsuyado-Sen.

My Kuya knew I was going to eat the burger and he asked me to order for him as well.

I was on my way out of The Lazy Bastard when I received this text message from him:

I replied OK and put the phone back in my purse because I am not the type to hold my phone in my hand all the time.

I went to Misuyado-Sen, ordered and paid for the tempura.

My Kuya always asks me to buy "tempura" for Renzo.

When I checked my phone again, I just realized he wanted me to buy "Tempra" (paracetamol) for a 9 year old!

I had to reply that I already bought the Tempura!!!!

He has never asked me to buy "Tempra" for his son before! Always "tempura".

So what was I suppose to think?!?!

Hahahahaha it only shows one thing....

That I only have food on my mind all the time.
